Schott Zweisel
We stock Schott Zweisel which starts at £3.50 a glass, we have a selection
available,
the glasses are sold individually so if the inevitable happens and one gets
broken it is
possible to buy just one glass to keep the set going. Schott Glass is dishwasher
safe
therefore making it very suitable for casual dining and everyday use.
Dartington
Within Dartington’ range there is the traditional mouth
blown crystal still
made in
Torrington, Devon and a range
that they source from overseas giving a lower
price
of £10.00
for a pair of glasses compared with £30.00 a pair
for the
Devon
produced glass.
Bath Aqua Glass
Inspired by the Roman and Georgian heritage, this range of
free blown glassware
reflects the colour and elements of the
historic spa waters of the World
Heritage Site
City of Bath.
Each piece is signed ‘Bath’ and dated. The unique colour of
Bath Aqua
Glass is made by adding copper oxide, a main
element of the spa waters, to
molten
glass, giving it the
aquarmarine colour reminiscent of Bath’s hot springs.
The
glass
takes its name from Aquae Sulis, the Latin name
for
Bath. Each piece is
shaped
freely by hand and tools only,
no moulds are used. The subtle differences give
every
piece
of Bath Aqua Glass its unique character. We always offer
an
excellent selection of Bath Aqua and
anything that we do
not
have
in stock can be obtained very
quickly. The glasses

Now part of Waterford and being produced in Ireland. There is a very good range

giftware and some classic and modern designs for the table.
Crystal with a Twist
This is a delightful small company who we are thrilled to be able to stock. When
Waterford took over Stuart Crystal many of the glass blowers were made
redundant,
not to be defeated the ex-Stuart glass blowers formed their own company called
‘Crystal with a Twist.’ The name comes from one of their patterns called Trinity
which
has an Airtwist stem.Crystal with a Twist will also produce matching glasses for
discontinued Stuart patterns.
